wooden needles
These great wooden needles are made for us by Al Snipes. In addition to being used as needles, they also work as pickup sticks and small battens. They come in a variety of lengths from about 5" to 9" and are about 1/4" wide. Some are wider. The woods vary, so specify dark or light or email for more info. Please specify the approximate length you wish when ordering. I only have a few in stock in a limited size. More will soon be arriving.

Maggie Weaving Fork - large
These great forks are made by Magpie WoodWorks. They use U.S. made RESCO pet combs in the forks. The tapered teeth are hardened stainless steel. Combs are embedded in the handle using epoxy resin. Handles are shaped by hand and finished with linseed oil and bee's wax. The design for this fork and its refinements were provided by D. Y. Begay. They are approximately 8 1/2" long and 2 1/4" wide. They come in either 10 teeth per inch or 7 teeth per inch and are available in walnut, cherry, hickory and maple. Please specify the teeth per inch and the wood in the "comments" box when ordering.
